Octavo.  Silver letters on full blue cloth with silver line drawing of the plane on the front.  In FINE condition in a NEAR FINE Brodart protected price-clipped dust jacket.  First edition with Scribner's "A" on publisher's page.  Decorated endpapers with a painting of his flight.  xiv-561pp.  This is Charles Lindbergh's autobiographical narrative of the planning and execution of the first nonstop airplane passage between the continents of America and Europe.  It was regarded at miraculous in 1927, one of the first great technical feats that also became one of the first great media sensations.  Appendix.  Glossary.  Including numerous photographs and drawings.
